Facilitation: Helping Communities Solve Real Problems
September 16th at 12PM Central
There is a need for neutral facilitators to guide groups as they come together to find effective feasible ways to address challenges, such as literacy, unemployment, substance abuse, economic inequity, and more. Hale has been helping The Institute for Performance Improvement {TIFPI] train facilitators in the skills of facilitation with a performance twist. The work includes helping groups learn to distinguish symptoms, contributing factors, and root causes; engage stakeholders with the expertise and means to make a difference; keep change makers focused on what matters long enough to make a difference.
This session is intended to explain the work and help you assess your readiness to contribute in new ways.
