This session continues with how the Power of Technology as a tool of influence due to its systematic processes.  This month looks specifically at the technology of assessing clients' readiness for change.  Readiness requires both competence and maturity. 

• Competence is about ability - the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to for change.
• Maturity is about development and consistency—the degree to which processes, behaviors, and decision-making are well-established, repeatable, and continuously improved. 

People who are mature but lack competence, risk using outdated or ineffective processes.    

During the session you will be shown a weighted checklist that assesses clients' readiness for change using the 8 characteristics of competence and maturity.
