Microcredential and Badging Quickstart
 (by request)

2-day virtual

A microcredential is a performance-based certification that focuses on a candidate's performance in a small subset of skills.  Designed for corporate learning professionals and human resources professionals, this course walks through the steps for designing, developing, and rolling out a microcredential (a.k.a. badge).

During this course you will:

  • Design a microcredential or badge.
  • Identify the resources you need in order to develop and roll out this microcredential.
  • Discuss your unique challenges for gathering evidence for your microcredential.
  • Plan your roll out and operational support.
This is a fast-paced do-as-you-go course with a mix of brief presentations followed by activities that help you build your credential.  You will hear about your classmates credentials and discuss issues of important to everyone in class.

Microcredential and Badging Quickstart is the prerequisite for the Corporate Certification Professional (CCP) practicum, which leads to certification as a CCP.
