Two-days, 10 am to 5:30 pm central time, simultaneously live & online,

Description: This is a practicum-based workshop where you can apply the concepts, rules, and principles to your own work as well as a case study.  The field of credentialing - certifications, certificates, micro-credentials, and accreditation - is changing in response to growing global demands. In addition to basic theories, Fundamentals of Credentialing includes numerous tools and templates you can adapt to your own needs.  You are encouraged to get a copy of the award wining book Performance-Based Certification: how to design a valid, defensible, cost-effective program.  Join this live and virtual course to discuss current practices, changes occurring in the field of credentialing, work through case studies, and apply the rules to your own work.
Why Should You Attend? You will gain insights and get tips for explaining credentialing choices that you and our organization need to make. You will get:
  1. Tools that you can use to design your next credential or improve your current one.
  2. Case studies and scenarios that highlight key credentialing decisions, risk and trade-offs.
  3. Time to ask questions of peers and experts in the field of credentialing.

  • Certification Audit Checklist ($25 value)
  • An overview of Certifications, a 13-page white paper.
